Fresh off their headlining tour for their latest album KILL THE GHOST, Little Image is back on the road joining Young The Giant on The Victory Garden Tour. This tour has a killer lineup with our headliner Young The Giant and openers Cold War Kids and Little Image. Anyone lucky enough to make it to a show on this tour is in for an evening of incredible performances. Our team at Soundscript was lucky enough to make it out to catch Little Image again for the Salt Lake City stop of the tour.

From the moment I entered The Complex, I could feel the excitement in the air from all of the eager fans. Half of the main room was already packed and merch lines were long by the time I arrived at the venue. Based solely on the fans in the room, I knew I was in for a great night.

Our focus tonight was the opener, the lovely Little Image. The band took the backlit stage with an overwhelming presence that instantly drew your attention. The set started strong with songs like MR. CYNICAL, OUT OF MY MIND and STRANGE FRIENDS. Though it seemed like Little Image was new to most of the crowd, the band clearly won over the audience with their sound and energy. Little Image is an incredibly solid headlining band and they also make for a really great opener as well. I think that the bouncy sound really just pulls you in and the band has this really infectious energy that truly can capture any room or any size crowd.

By the end of Little Image’s set, the whole crowd was moving and audience members on the barricade were starting to pick up on the lyrics being sung to them. This band was a really great addition to The Victory Garden Tour, they did a good job getting the crowd’s energy up and had us all dancing along. At the end of their set, the band announced that they’d be waiting at merch if anyone wanted to come say hello. By the time I made it out to the merch line after Little Image’s set, the band had a significant line of fans eager to meet them.

I was so grateful for the chance to see Little Image live again. They are the type of band that once you’ve seen them, you don’t ever want to miss their shows when they come through your town. Overall, the whole Victory Garden Tour is one not to be missed. It is a night full of incredible performances and high energy. If you are lucky enough to catch a show on this tour, make sure that you get there early. Little Image is not a band that you want to sleep on, and it is definitely a band that you are going to want to catch the next time they tour.
